Greater flexibility when you purchase our software

When you purchase our software, we give you more flexibility on how you can install and use our software than most other software publishers.

As well as standard software licensing (which lets you install the software you purchase on a single computer), we give you even more choices. You may alternatively choose to:

• Install the software on a single computer, but allow unlimited people within your organisation/at home to use it on that computer; or
• Install the software on up to 3 computers, but restrict the use of the software to one person.

There are many ways in which you can benefit under these extra software licensing options. Below are two common scenarios:

Scenario 1: Business users
A business using Multimedia Australia software to manage its website might choose to install the software on a single computer, and allow all its staff to use that computer whenever they need to update the business' website. The business saves money because it only needs to purchase one software license rather than separate licenses for each staff member's computer.

Scenario 2: Individual users
A private website owner using Multimedia Australia software can choose to install the software on their work computer, laptop computer and home computer. Provided no one else uses the software on all three computers, the person only needs to purchase one software license.

What is a software license?

You need to purchase a license in order to use the full version of a software product. The license permits you to use the software subject to the terms and conditions of the license agreement.

Unlocking the full version of Multimedia Australia software

Most Multimedia Australia software products are distributed as free trial versions. If you want to purchase the full version, you will be given a registration code upon completion of your order. You can enter this code into the trial version of the software to convert it to the full version. This means you can start using the full version of the software immediately!
